3M™ Random Orbital Sanders

3M™ Random Orbital Sanders optimize finish sanding and surface preparation on many surfaces like whitewood.

Their unique motion is the key to its versatility. The abrasive disc and disc pad move in two distinct oval patterns so no single abrasive particle follows the same path twice. You're left with a swirl-free finish, even when sanding against the grain.

They're available in three different orbits — 5/16" aggressive, 3/16" general purpose and 3/32" fine finishing; three different sizes — 3", 5" and 6"; and some models work with different dust-management systems — 5-hole, 6-hole and clean sanding styles; and three vacuum styles — non-vacuum, central-vacuum-ready and self-generated.
